Geri passed on November 3, 2013.
Although I did not know Geri at WHS, whenever we passed in the hallways between classes, Geri would always give me what I felt was a warm, friendly and sincere "Hi there" smile.
After reading Geri's obituary, I now know it was sincere.

Sad news of the death of Geraldine (Geri). I dusted off the yearbook and read her personal comments to me, which ended with "God bless you." From the obit, I now understand how deeply her religion informed and shaped her life from even the early years. (She was not at the end just cramming for the finals.) She was beautiful and sweet then and I assume also throughout her life. My sincere condolences to her family and friends. May her memory be as a blessing.

So sorry to hear of Gerry's passing. She was a really good friend in high school and always had a smile on her face. My thoughts and prayers are with her and her family. Even though it has been ten years, the missing of a loved one doesn't go away.
