I moved to Avenel from Elizabeth during the summer of 1959 between my Sophomore and Junior school years.  Attending WHS for Junior and Senior years prior to graduation then off to the military for 8-years, didnt permit me to make as many friendships and acquaintances at WHS as those fortunates raised in Woodbridge Township,  While I didnt have that opportunity, I was able to get to know a good number of classmates, some more and better than others and in a few cases, have been blessed to still have contact with former WHS friends and clasmates.  I didn't get to know Lou Egry as I had some others but I still want to pass along something my very Italian Maternal Grandafther would say at times like these.  He would have said, "Riposa in pace eterna, Luigi! ("Rest in eternal peace, Lou!").
