John "Jack" G. Capik, 70, of Edison, passed away, at JFK Medical Center on April 8, 2014. He was born in Perth Amboy on July 4, 1943. He resided in Edison for the last 42 years. He was a graduate of Woodbridge High School, Class of 1961. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict. Jack was the Owner/Operator of the Chevron gas station in Fords for 25 years. He enjoyed trips to Atlantic City and Harness Racing.

He was predeceased by his wife, Dianne Capik, in 2004.
